Empty Nest

Well, it's official, our youngest daughter started college today, so Dee and I are Empty Nesters.

My fantasies of roaming around the country in our new RV ran smack into the reality of 24/7/365 cell phone coverage between mother and daughter :-) But at least we were back in Austin in time for the GWNN Bash where we got to visit with a lot of friends and play Saturday night. We also went to the picnic Sunday, but after saying hi to people we rushed back home to the ranch to shoot some naughty pictures.

Our first project is to clean the place up for our Labor Day party. This year we moved all our stuff down from PA, so we have a lot more to clean up. Then we only have a few weeks to get the RV ready for our Westward RV shakedown cruise...

We'll be at Folsom Fringe and the Folsom Street Faire, then we're in Phoenix to present at the APEX. After a quick flight to Orlando and back for the STS-125 launch (delayed from August), we resume driving around Arizona and Utah for some "hard to reach location" bondage photography.

Then we have a few weeks off before flying to Jamaica for Kink in the Caribbean 9.

Then after that we calm down for a while.

Our plan is to take the time to drive around the country in a leisurely fashion, visiting our friends without having to rush back home each Sunday night to get the kids to school. So eventually we'll be at all of your doors :-)
